Donations for Delaware County
From Velga on the WP:
Some local radio stations, such as Delhi’s, have pooled together to run a Delaware County disaster relief marathon. You can hear it streaming at https://www.facebook.com/l/4AQCCJZ_IAQAknjjrEBCmrdiWFuKYgzI-D8XvlYuKm_BUgw/www.wzozfm.com or probably on your local station. The funds go to the Ostego-Delaware County United Fund for distribution solely in Delaware County. Contributions/pledges can be phoned in to 1-888-432-1030. An hour or so ago they had raised $17,000. I heard about it this morning on my battery-powered radio, and am sending this out courtesy of McDonald’s free wi-fi.Please spread the word, so that we can help those whose homes and livelihoods have been devastated.

donate online by going to www.markproject.org, and click
on the “donate” button on the upper right hand corner of the page. You can specify where exactly you want
funds to go (eg. Flood relief/name of village or town).
If donating by check, please mark “Flood relief” in the memo line. Specify a town, if you wish.

Re: Donations for Margaretville and Delaware County
Thanks, Caitlyn!
I want to reiterate that ALL donations, volunteering, etc. information should come from the Middletown site for Margaretville, Arkville, and Fleischmanns.
For all volunteering and donations needs there, as of September 3, 2011, please go to:
http://middletownfloodrecovery.wordpress.com/
These communities are very much appreciating all of the support that they are receiving, but it is a huge project to manage people and items pouring in.
Information on this site supercedes all other information on Margaretville, Arkville, and Fleischmanns.
Thanks!
